                                            Send an informal resume stating your interpreter training, experience, and two professional references.
                                            Please also indicate your general availability: daytime, evenings, weekdays, weekends.
                                            You will then be contacted and arrangements made for an interview and assessment of your abilities. 

                                            Note that a variety of work is available for interpreters of many ability levels.

For interpreters-in-training, shadowing opportunities are available during the NY State Fair. We match you with one or more working interpreters. You can observe interpreting and have questions answered. Contact FAD by mid-August, stating which day(s) you will be at the Fair. We'll contact you with further arrangements.
