SCROLL DOWN FOR PICTURES From the 2011 Fair
Fair Access for the Deaf (FAD) is always at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, as it has been since 1988. The Fair runs for 12 days in late August thru Labor Day. FAD brings sign language interpreters from all over New York State. Everyday many events are interpreted, including shows about stunt dog teams, sea lions, police dogs, cooking, scuba diving, rappelling, monkeys and other exotic animals. Children enjoy live stage shows and puppets. All 2 pm and 8 pm shows at Chevrolet Court are interpreted with reserved seating in front. |
